Vehicle rear-ends school bus in Reno

No one was hurt when a school bus and another vehicle collided in Reno. It happened at Mt. Rose Street and Patrick Avenue Tuesday. Police say the bus was stopped at a bus stop, when another driver rear-ended it. That driver was cited for distracted driving.

Fire damages Sparks home

Fire damages a home in Sparks. Firefighters were called to the 1000 block of York Way late Tuesday morning. They say the fire was sparked in a bedroom. No one was hurt.

Truckee Meadows Fire Protection changes their logo

The Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District gets a new logo – aimed at clearing up confusion between it and Truckee Fire in California. The new logo features the Maltese cross and Slide Mountain. It also has “TM” in gold meant to show they’re the gold standard in fire protection.
