Governor Steve Sisolak says he’d like to see Nevada switch from a caucus system to an early, if not the first in the nation, presidential primary. Former Nevada Senator Harry Reid brought back up the need for change immediately after Nevada’s first-in-the-west caucus, won by Democrat Bernie Sanders. But the state legislature would have to approve of any switch.
