Details released in south Reno murder-suicide

We’re learning more about a murder-suicide in south Reno that left an entire family dead. Reno police say Joan Huber killed her husband and two sons before turning the gun on herself. No word yet on a motive for the killings.

Health officials say all students at a Reno elementary school tested negative after one student’s father was diagnosed with the coronavirus in Nevada’s second such case at the time. Washoe County Health District officials conducted the testing of students from Huffaker Elementary on Friday. Class is back in session there today.

Navy veteran pleads guilty to Tahoe-area home invasion

A Navy veteran who pleaded guilty to a home invasion in Lake Tahoe last fall will spend at least a year-and-a-half in prison. Stephen Milaeger was sentenced to 16 to 72 months in prison after admitting to breaking a window to enter into a home belonging to his estranged family last fall.
