Armed man in Lemmon Valley arrested after domestic dispute, shot with projectile

A man who police say was armed is arrested by Washoe County deputies. Police were called to Lemmon Valley Saturday night for reports of a domestic assault. Police say when they got there, the victim and Oscar Rodrigues had separated, but the suspect was alone in the vehicle with a gun. Police say when he reached for his waistband, they shot Rodriguez with a 40 millimeter projectile. A police K9 grabbed Rodriguez’s arm, and he surrendered.
