Classes resume at Huffaker Elementary after coronavirus scare closed school

Classes resume today at Huffaker Elementary after no students tested positive for COVID-19. Washoe County schools closed Huffaker Friday after learning a student is the family member of Washoe County’s first coronavirus case. That man was on-board the Grand Princess cruise ship where an outbreak occurred. As many as 40 Nevadans were on-board that ship. The health district says it’s relieved the school wasn’t affected.
