NV gets 1st doses of Moderna vaccine, Carson Tahoe Health to begin vaccinations

Nevada received its first shipment of Moderna vaccine. The vaccine, which doesn’t require ultra-cold storage like the Pfizer vaccine, can be shipped directly to hospitals and health care systems. The state was slated to receive more than 72,000 doses. Carson Tahoe Health got 400 doses of Moderna vaccine that they’ll begin administering today.
