Health Officials are reporting that a man in his 50s with underlying health conditions is the 28 death in Washoe county due to the coronavirus on Monday. There were also 16 new cases on Monday bringing the county’s total to 820. An additional 13 people have recovered bringing the total recoveries to 278.
Five more persons have died from coronavirus in Washoe County with the death toll now standing at 27. The county has 804 total cases though of those, 265 persons have recovered. An abandoned car catches fire-with that fire spreading to a small patch of nearby wild land in Truckee Meadows. Firefighters managed to control the spread. No structures were damaged. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
