Washoe County health officials are reporting 13 additional positive COVID-19 cases along with 21 recoveries in the county on Sunday. The 13 cases brings the total to 804 in the county and the additional 21 recoveries brings the total to 265. Two Washoe County Health District employees and a sheriff’s deputy have tested positive for COVID-19 and are all self-isolating. According to the Washoe County Information Center, investigations for the Health District employees were completed and it was determined that the employees may have incidentally exposed other employees to COVID-19 at the facility during the infectious period.
