Washoe County adds 6 COVID-19 deaths for 2nd day, St. Mary’s postpones elective procedures

Washoe County adds six COVID-19 deaths for a second straight day. That brings the total number of deaths to 384. The latest death involved men and women in their 60s, 80s, and 90s…all with underlying health conditions. The county added nearly 330 cases. Hospitalizations also rose to 312.

The latest coronavirus surge has led Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center to postpone all elective surgeries. Last week, the hospital announced it had reached capacity.
