Skiers warned about weak snowpack after 2 weekend avalanches

Backcountry skiers are being warned about unstable snowpack after two were caught in avalanches over the weekend. The Tahoe Daily-Tribune repots a skier and snowmobiler escaped serious injuries after skiers triggered a slide in Carson Pass. A second avalanche was reported Saturday in the Little Truckee Summit region in the Tahoe National Forest.
