South Lake Tahoe, Truckee could exit stay-at-home orders soon

Residents of South Lake Tahoe and Truckee may ring in the New Year without stay-at-home orders. The Greater Sacramento region could exit the regional orders as early as January 1, 2021. ICU availability now stands at 16.6 percent. It must be at 15 percent to come out of stay-at-home orders. The order requests people stay home, prohibits gatherings, and restricts retail capacity at 20 percent. It also doesn’t allow rentals or motel stays for non-essential travel.
