We now have the name of a man who’s accused of shooting a Douglas County deputy in a traffic stop. Deputies say wanted fugitive Nicholas Berreman was in the passenger seat when he allegedly shot Sergeant John Lenz three times. Lenz was flown to Renown, where he required immediate surgery. Berreman was charged with battery with a deadly weapon on a protected person. Driver Kaela Horse-Berreman faces a charge of harboring a felon.
