Quad County Offering Symptom-Free Testing

The Quad-County Incident Management team began offering symptom-free COVID-19 testing Tuesday strictly to residents. Hundreds of people did drive-thru testing at Carson High School as Carson City Health and Human Services and Nevada National Guard assisted in administering tests.

Douglas County is discontinuing its community access channels. The decision comes after a community survey recently determined an overwhelming number of residents rely on social media, local media, and the county’s website for their information. More than 70 percent of participants had no idea community access channels even existed.
