The Caldor Fire’s economic impact may have been stronger than first thought. Gaming revenue was down 77% in Stateline to $5.5 million. The Tahoe Daily Tribune reports that’s the lowest number we’ve seen since the COVID-19 lockdown ended. The more than 221,000-acre wildfire was fully contained last week.

Children ages 5 to 11 could begin getting vaccinated against COVID-19 as early as next week. State officials have ordered 95,000 doses of the Pfizer pediatric COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine still needs final CDC approval, which is expected next week.
