Nevada Day returns to Carson City. Events are taking place all throughout Halloween weekend. Saturday morning, there’s a pancake breakfast and hot air balloon launch. A parade steps off at 10 a.m. with a theme of “Historic Moments in Nevada” and a military aircraft flyover. Northern Nevada baseball coach and Hall of Famer Ron McNutt will be the grand marshal. Then, Sunday, for the kids, there’s trick-or-treating at the Carson Mall at 4 p.m. Governor Steve Sisolak and the First Lady will also hand out candy to kids at the Governor’s Mansion.
