A driver is hospitalized after suffering from a medical episode while behind the wheel. Police say the driver reversed into a home on Chapman Place in the North Valleys Wednesday morning. Three children in the car was also hospitalized as a precaution. Residents of the home have been temporarily displaced, but weren’t hurt.
A new gathering space downtown will be complete by spring. News 4 reports that Jacobs Entertainment is planning for an open promenade and festival tent along West Fourth Street near the Sands Regency in Reno’s Neon Line District. Carson City sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man wanted in connection with two burglaries. Deputies say Jacob Newell hit Sportsman’s Warehouse and Walmart last week, and stole $1,500 worth of Go Pro cameras. Newell who was caught in the act on video surveillance has a diamond tattoo on his face.
