California imposes an overnight curfew in an effort to stave off rising coronavirus cases. Governor Gavin Newsom called for a limited stay-at-home order in 41 counties between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. until at least December 21st. It comes after businesses were also ready heavily restricted.
A 10-year-old boy is dead in Elko after police say he was shot by another child. Police arrived Wednesday to find the boy had suffered a gunshot wound to his chest-fired by a 12-year-old boy. The investigation is ongoing.
Fire breaks out at a duplex in Reno. Firefighters were called to Arroyo Street yesterday. They say a small fire started in the basement and was quickly extinguished. The home sustained minimal damage and no one was hurt. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
