One of the heroes in the Nashville explosions spent some time in Reno. KOLO-TV reports Amanda Topping previously volunteered as a victim’s advocate for the department before she went onto become a Metro Nashville police officer. She was one of six officers who helped evacuate people from downtown upon discovering an RV loaded with explosives.

Police are still looking for a driver who careened into a Sparks business. Police say the driver fled a traffic stop on Glendale Avenue and crashed into a business on the 600 block of South Rock Boulevard before fleeing on foot Sunday.

An ambulance, carrying a patient, is involved in a crash in Sparks. It happened Monday on Vista Boulevard near Loop Road. Police say the REMSA ambulance was transporting a patient, but wasn’t using its lights or sirens.
