A man is arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in 2019. Police handcuffed Kelly Gillig. They say he was the last of three suspects to be arrested for the killing of Jordan Reynoso on the 600 block of Spokane Street. Three others were also shot, but survived.
A trailer holding an air balloon catches fire in Carson City. Firefighters were called to Hunt Circle last night. They say a tank used to pump hot air ignited. Flames spread to an adjacent garage-but not the family’s home. A vehicle also burned. No one was hurt.
Two people are hospitalized in a motorcycle crash near Washoe Lake. It happened Tuesday night, police say the motorcycle crashed and one person was thrown over the guardrail. They were flown by chopper to the hospital.

Reports of new coronavirus cases in Nevada continued to decline Wednesday, with the state’s two-week rolling rate of tests coming back positive dropping to a level not seen since late October. Nevada’s 14-day positivity rate was 8.6%. Health officials reported 516 new COVID-19 cases and 16 additional deaths.
