Police look for semi-truck in I-80 hit-and-run

Police are looking for a truck driver they say was involved in a hit-and-run. Police say the truck collided with a white sedan on I-80 eastbound near the Mustang exit Monday night, tying up traffic. Police say the driver of the sedan wasn’t hurt.

Police ID man killed in dispute Sparks

Police have identified a man killed in a dispute in Sparks. Police say 67-year-old Javier Rodriguez was shot and killed by 19-year-old Brian Rodriguez-Sigala. Rodriguez-Sigala had been staying at Javier Rodriguez’s place when the shooting happened Friday. He faces murder charges.

Man killed in Sparks motorcycle crash

A man is dead in a motorcycle crash in Sparks. Police say the motorcycle struck an SUV that turned in front of it, ejecting the motorcyclist. It happened yesterday at Victorian Avenue and 19th Street. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Reno Police issue dozens of citations in another crackdown on illegal street racing. They slapped 41 drivers with citations and made three arrests for driving under the influence, and another arrest for reckless driving and child endangerment Saturday.
