Governor Steve Sisolak responded late Monday night to President Donald Trump’s remarks made earlier in the day regarding potentially deploying the Armed Forces to states experiencing violence amid the nationwide protests, sparked by the in-custody killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Sisolak said, “Unfortunately, the President has once again taken the path of inciting combativeness, stoking racial tensions, and creating division when we need unity more than ever.”
