WCSD sues county in over-taxation dispute

Data shows fentanyl deaths doubling in Washoe County

The number of deaths tied to fentanyl in Washoe County has more than doubled over the last year. KOLO-TV reports the county saw 55 deaths from fentanyl in 2020. Woman who died at Reno storage facility identified

We now have the name of a woman who died in an accident at a storage facility in Reno. Police say she is Donna Dickton of Sparks. The 62-year-old woman died while moving a medical bed at Emigrant Storage on Longley Lane last week. Police say her death is not considered suspicious.

Woman arrested after shots fired in Reno

A woman is arrested after police say fired a gun outside the Peppermill. Police say a pick-up truck had dropped off Nicole Lupica Sunday there, and she fired a round at the truck as it was leaving. She faces a host of weapons counts and was charged in connection with a stolen vehicle.
