Washoe County has 21,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to date-with that being a combo of the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines. Of those 8,700 will be administered by the health district. Sparks Police are investigating shots fired. They were called to G Street between 6th and 7th streets Tuesday night. Officers say they saw a vehicle with damage and located shell casings at the scene. It’s unclear whether anyone was hurt.

Quad-County region adds 6 COVID-19 deaths

Six more people have died from COVID-19 in the Quad-County region, bringing the total to 119. The latest death involves mostly people in their 80s and 90s. The area added 18 new cases and nearly 100 recoveries Tuesday.
