A suspect wanted in a double-shooting in Elko is arrested in Sparks. Police spotted Austin Himmelman on the 2400 block of Victorian Avenue Tuesday and cuffed him. He’s accused of shooting two people, killing one of them, in a trailer park in south Elko last week.

South Lake Tahoe residents are no longer under stay-at-home orders. The area, which is part of the Greater Sacramento Region, was released from orders after hospital capacity stabilized.
