WCSD could delay return to hybrid learning

The Washoe County School Board will consider an end date for distance learning today. Students were expected to return to hybrid learning January 3th, but Superintendent Dr. Kristin McNeil is recommending a push-back until January 19th so educators can better prepare to return to hybrid learning. Middle and high school students are on their second week of remote learning due to a serious spike in COVID-19 cases. The school board is also expected to discuss winter sports.
