Governor Steve Sisolak is calling the approval of the Moderna vaccine a “valuable tool” in protecting Nevadans from COVID-19. He says the Western States Scientific Safety Review Workgroup has come to the same conclusion as the FDA — that the vaccine is safe. It’s the second vaccine supported by the workgroup. We’re still awaiting word on how many doses of this vaccine the state will receive – likely sometime this week.
