Hundreds gather for vigil for victim in fatal stabbing on tribla reservation

Hundreds gathered Friday night to honor a pregnant woman who was brutally murdered by her boyfriend on the Pyramid Paiute Tribal reservation earlier that week. News 4 reports the candlelight vigil for 37-year-old Amanda Davis was aimed at raising awareness to missing and murdered Indigenous women and domestic violence. Federal agents say Davis was fatally stabbed by her boyfriend Michael Burciaga, as her children watched. Burciaga faces second-degree murder charges. A GoFundMe for Davis has already come close to its $20.000 goal.
