Reno-Tahoe Airport seeing spike in travel ahead of holidays

Travel may be down as much as 60 percent but the Reno-Tahoe Airport is seeing its biggest bump in traffic since Spring Break. A COVID-19 test isn’t required to travel through the airport, though some international destinations that are permitting Americans to come are requiring it. Masks and social distancing ARE required. Tips-if you’re traveling don’t wrap gifts-they need to be inspected by the TSA, and bring wipes to wipe down your seat, tray table, and seatbelt. The airport expects 5,100 travelers to come through on December 23rd, according to 2 News.
