Sparks police arrest a man in connection with the beating of an elderly person. Police say Adrian Morales beat the victim-who was someone he knew-with a blunt object-inside a home on Sparks Boulevard last month. The victim suffered serious head injuries, but survived the attack. Morales was arrested after barricading himself inside an apartment Tuesday. He faces charges of battery with a deadly weapon causing substantial bodily harm.
