Eight people have died from COVID-19 in the Quad-County region – that comes just one day after 11 deaths were reported. Among them, Storey County saw its first virus-related death – ten months into the pandemic. The area added 168 new cases and 32 recoveries.
Nearly every inmate at a Carson City correctional camp has tested positive for COVID-19. Low-risk, non-violent inmates at the Stewart Conservation Camp are now in quarantine after all by 14 of the more than 250 inmates have tested positive.
