NV sees 50 COVID-19 deaths in a single day

A grim milestone in Nevada. For the first time, the state saw 50 COVID-19 deaths. That’s nearly double the previous record of 28 in a single-day.

Seven of those deaths came from Washoe County, where we’ve seen a total of 345 deaths. The county added nearly 600 new cases and nearly 200 recoveries Thursday. 267 people remain hospitalized with the virus.
