Nevada side Lake Tahoe could see business boost from CA stay-at-home order

Stay-at-home orders in California have led to a serious decline in tourism in the Lake Tahoe area. Officials in Placer and El Dorado counties say they’re not enforcing gathering restrictions or mask-wearing-but area ski resorts are open only to season pass holders and reserved guests. It could mean a boon for resorts on the Nevada-side of the lake that don’t have the same restrictions. The state is under a statewide pause until January 15th that encourages you to stay home; there are also limits on gatherings.
