It’s official, former Nevada governor Brian Sandoval is the new president of U-N-R. Sanodval is the university’s first Hispanic president; he’s also a graduate of U-N-R. He starts his new job October 5th-taking over for Marc Johnson, who announced his upcoming retirement last year. He’ll make a half-million-dollars a year – on top of housing and car allowances.
