Both the Washoe County and Carson City school districts announced that today, will once again be a full distance learning day because the National Weather Service models are showing that smoke from wildfires will remain in the region longer than originally predicted, causing unhealthy air quality. Students can still get school meals on Friday. Officials said, “School meals will be available for all students from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Families should go to the Nutrition Services Center Central Kitchen Facility located at 585 Spice Islands Ct. in Sparks.
