Washoe County dropped from state’s COVID-19 ‘high-risk’ list

The COVID-19 picture is improving in Washoe County. The county has been dropped from the state’s high-risk list after spending 11 weeks there. Churchill and Eureka counties also dropped off, but Lyon and Mineral counties were added.

Meantime, in Washoe County, there were two new COVID deaths for a total of 153. Both were men with underlying health conditions-one was in his 60s, the other in his 80s. The county added 166 new cases — the second most cases in a single day – and 49 recoveries.
