Truckee Meadows firefighters put out a pair of separate fires over the weekend. One broke out early Saturday in rocky terrain on Rattlesnake Mountain Saturday. No buildings and no one was hurt in the nearly 8-acre fire. A separate fire broke out next to I-80 near the state line early Sunday. That fire only burned less than an acre.
