COVID-19 task force to tackle mask shortage after Renown nurses say they don’t have enough

Priority number one for Nevada’s new COVID-19 task force-addressing a shortage of N-95 masks at health care facilities in the state. The task force will work to gather medical supplies. The Reno Gazette-Journal reports nurses at Renown say their employer is failing to isolate and test possible coronavirus patients. They add they don’t have enough face marks to ensure hospital employees’ safety and say they’re being forced to re-use masks. Renown refused comment on how many masks and COVID-19 tests it had.
