Washoe DA: Reno man must serve 15 years for fatal shooting

The Washoe County DA says a Reno man must serve at least 15 years in prison for the fatal shooting of a man in west Sparks in 2018. Kareem Thomas Junior pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of Michael Frost. A judge sentenced him to up to 40 years in prison.

Reno Police arrest a man in connection with a fatal hit-and-run. They say 49-year-old Richard Milburn mowed down a pedestrian Friday at South McCarran Boulevard and Longley Lane and fled the scene. The pedestrian died at the scene.
