The Bank Saloon to Return

A piece of Carson City history is under renovation. The spot on South Carson Street long known as Jack’s Bar is slated to reopen later this year under its original name, The Bank Saloon. There’s a lot of history behind that name. The building was built in 1899 and sits across the street from the State Legislature. Now it’s owned by the Nevada Builders Alliance. the outside walls remain the same. And the hope is to reopen The Bank Saloon by Nevada Day in October.
