United Airlines suspends direct flights between Reno and Houston due to the travel slowdown sparked by the coronavirus. The route is one of 13 suspended by the airline, according to The Points Guy.

Two Elko man face a federal indictment for allegedly conspiring to vandalize an archaeological site on public lands. Daniel Plata and Jonathan Pavon were arrested after Instagram video shows the two vandalizing property by spray-painting rocks near the Schelbourne rest stop in White Pine County and other properties.

Reno police arrest a woman for allegedly hitting a police officer. Police say officers were called to a bar on East 2nd street for reports of a fight over the weekend. Police say a woman kneed an officer in the groin as they tried to place her in a patrol car.

The Placer County sheriff’s office is investigating an apparent murder-suicide. It happened in Granite Bay near Folsom Sunday. Police say Timothy Delgado, a prosecutor for U.S. attorney’s office, shot his wife, Tamara Delgado, before taking his own life.

Three people are arrested after police say they tried to smuggle drugs into the Ely Conservation Camp. Reno Police say a car rolled over after it was racing through a residential neighborhood. Police say two vehicles were involved when one driver crashed after speeding through a roundabout Saturday. Passengers in that car had to be extricated by firefighters; the driver had already fled on foot.
