2 Elko man accused of vandalizing public lands archaeological site

Two Elko man face a federal indictment for allegedly conspiring to vandalize an archaeological site on public lands. Daniel Plata and Jonathan Pavon were arrested after Instagram video shows the two vandalizing property by spray-painting rocks near the Schelbourne rest stop in White Pine County and other properties.

Police: Car rolled after drag racing through roundabout

Reno Police say a car rolled over after it was racing through a residential neighborhood. Police say two vehicles were involved when one driver crashed after speeding through a roundabout Saturday. Passengers in that car had to be extricated by firefighters; the driver had already fled on foot.
