Death toll rises to 15 from COVID-19 in Washoe County

Washoe County’s death toll from COVID-19 rises to 15. The county now has at least 572 cases of coronavirus. Statewide, 142 people have died and 33-hundred people have tested positive for COVID-19. The silver lining-more than 25,000 Nevadans have tested negative for the contagious respiratory illness.

Quad-County region cases of COVID-19 rise

Cases of COVID-19 rise in the Quad-County region. The area now has at least 53 confirmed cases of coronavirus. The latest cases involve a Carson City woman in her 60s and a Douglas County woman in her 30s. Both are self-isolating in their homes. The region has seen a dozen recoveries.
