Two people are shot in South Reno. Police were called to East Grove Street and Wrondel Way at 10:30 p.m. last night. Police say the victims’ injuries aren’t considered life-threatening. No one’s been arrested.
A Lake Tahoe ski resort is slapped with a lawsuit over new parking fees. A woman is charged in a September murder in Sparks. Police say Nicole Dattke killed Michael Krantz. Krantz’s body was found in a parking lot on the 200 block of North 22nd Street. Police say Dattke was already in custody on other charges.
Las Vegas police say they’ve implemented almost every recommendation that followed from the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history. Clark County sheriff Joe Lombardo says 84 of 93 recommendations were implemented following a self-critique and review after the country music massacre that killed more than 50 people.
Reed High School students had the opportunity of a lifetime. They marched in the 2020 New Year’s Day parade in London. The Lord Mayor of London came to the school last year to make the big announcement. It had been a decade since the Reed band played overseas.
