A man gets a visit to the hospital and a ticket after getting hit by a car in Reno. It happened on Arlington Avenue near West Commercial Row Wednesday morning. Police say the man wasn’t using the crosswalk when he was hit, so they cited him for jaywalking.
A UNR fan involved in a fight with student athletes at the UNR/UNLV game last month faces a charge of disturbing the peace. Alejandro Davalos turned himself in to police after he was identified. The search continues for other fans involved in the brawl.

We now have the name of a man who died in a confrontation with police in Sparks. The medical examiner says he is 18-year-old Miciah Lee. Police say Lee was suicidal and had a gun when he was shot and killed by officers at North McCarran and Rock boulevards over the weekend.
An elderly man is dead after being hit by a car in Reno. It happened Tuesday morning on Silverada Boulevard near Oddie Boulevard. Police say the man wasn’t using a crosswalk when he was hit. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died. Police say the driver is cooperating with investigators.
Ground is broken on a massive project at the Reno Tahoe Industrial Center. The Horse Oasis project is 50,000 sq. ft. of commercial space. Developers hope to bring in restaurants, a daycare, a gym, and perhaps even a hotel.
