20 bighorn sheep relocated to Pyramid Lake

Twenty bighorn sheep have returned to Pyramid Lake for the first time in nearly a century. The sheep are being re-introduced to their native habitat by state wildlife officials and the Pyramid Lake Paiute tribe. So far , they’re doing well.

One Person Wins $14-Million in SuperLotto

According to the California Lottery site, one lucky person bought a winning SuperLotto ticket at the South Lake Tahoe Raley’s. The site reports that the ticket, worth $14 million, was drawn Saturday night. The winner of the ticket has yet to be identified.

RPD Arrest 4 in Weekend Drunk Driving Operation

The Reno Police Department arrested four people in a weekend drunk driving operation. Police stopped drivers 37 times as a part of the operation and also issued five citations. Police conducted the operation Saturday night and early Sunday with the help of a grant from the Nevada Office of Traffic Safety.

A man accused of murder at Reno’s Zombie Crawl pleads not guilty. 25-year-old Juan Hernandez is accused of fatally shooting a man outside the Eldorado Resort in October of last year as the annual Halloween-themed event was ending. Police identify Sparks man found dead in car that crashed in Reno

Police have identified a man found dead inside a vehicle that had crashed in Reno. Police say 48-year-old Edward Long of Sparks was found dead inside a white Jeep that had crashed into a tree on Sutro Street Tuesday. But officers say the man’s injuries aren’t consistent with a crash; his death remains under investigation.
