Man indicted in Carson Indian Colony murder

A Reno man is indicted on first-degree murder charges for a killing on the Carson Indian Colony. 51-year-old Steven Bryan is accused of fatally shooting 23-year-old Kyle Bryan in the head with a rifle. The relationship between the two hasn’t been revealed.

Police: Driver distracted by GPS causes crash in Reno

One person is hospitalized after a crash in Reno. Police say it happened near Foothill Road and South Virginia Street Tuesday. 6 semi-trucks collide on I-80 near Nyack, causing injuries and spillage

Wet roadways cause a major crash involving several semi-trucks across the state line. Caltrans says it happened on I-80 eastbound near Nyack yesterday. California troopers say three people were hurt and two of the trucks spilled oil and almond milk onto the roadway. At least six trucks were involved in the crash that included entrapment.

Dayton revives football program

Dayton is bringing back its football program. The Reno Gazette-Journal reports after not having a program last fall, they’ve hired football coach Terrance Spann, who played at Wooster High School in the 1990s. Spann was also Dayton’s former assistant coach and runs the local youth football league.
