Officer Involved Shooting

The Reno Police Department said an incident in northeast Reno was an officer-involved shooting. The incident at Sutro Street and Wedekind Road. A suspect was waving a knife around the El Chaparral Apartments around 8 p.m. when the officer shot the suspect.

Carson City proposes rezoning to ease overcrowding

A school shake-up in Carson City. To alleviate overcrowding, the district is proposing a zoning change. It would send fifth grade students from Fremont Elementary to Eagle Valley Middle…instead of splitting attendance between that school and Carson Middle.
