RSCVA CEO Resigns

Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority CEO Phil DeLone has resigned citing medical reasons amid sexual harassment allegations, according to a statement released from the RSCVA. The RSCVA opened an investigation in late January after receiving multiple sexual harassment claims against DeLone. DeLone was hired by the RSCVA in 2016.

Reno man sentenced to 3 years in prison on child porn charges

A Reno man is heading to prison on child porn charges. 31-year-old Randall Linschied pleaded guilty to possession charges after police say they found he had downloaded thousands of images and videos over 16 years. He’ll spend three years behind bars and must register as a sex offender when he gets out.
