Nevadans convicted of low-level marijuana offenses to be pardoned

Governor Steve Sisolak is calling it a “historic day.” The state Board of Pardons Commissioner has approved a resolution proposed by the governor to pardon those convicted of low-level marijuana offenses. He calls this another step toward justice that’s long overdue since residents voted to decriminalize possession of small amounts of marijuana in 2016.

California man arrested in Dayton railroad arson

A California man is arrested in connection with setting fire to a historic railroad station in Dayton. 63-year-old Kurt Selzer of Ventura started the fire with a lighter and acetone. The depot was a total loss, and the fire spread to the two other buildings and a home.

The Carson & Colorado Railroad Depot in Dayton is destroyed after an apparent arson.
