Contracted RTC bus driver has COVID-19

A contractor, who drives buses for the RTC has tested positive for COVID-19. The driver hasn’t been at work since July 13th, and they say he hasn’t had any close contact with passengers. All drivers are required to wear face coverings, and there’s a plastic barrier between drivers and passengers.

Fire destroys 2 homes in Sun Valley

A fire in Sun Valley destroys two homes and several outbuildings. Firefighters were called to Chimney Drive and Lundy Road Tuesday afternoon. They say the fire, which prompted evacuations, started in a backyard. A firefighter and an elderly resident were hospitalized.
