Douglas County man faces child abuse charges

A Douglas County man faces child abuse charges. Police say Devin Choate battered his girlfriend’s child over the weekend, and then threatened the child to stay quiet. He faces charges of domestic battery with strangulation as well as assault with a deadly weapon.
